Sunday 5elect – Vol. 006

Welcome to this week’s edition of Sunday 5elect, where Economix readers get insight into the top five tracks dominating my headphones right now. We have a real range of sounds this week, from pop vocals courtesy of Bieber to ambient vibes via Oshi. Enjoy below.

1. DJ Snake – Let Me Love You ft. Justin Bieber (Slander & B-Sides Remix)

DJ snake’s debut studio album Encore has been a hit by any standard, with multiple tracks on radio repeat. Slander and B-Sides team up to give it a future-bass flip and the result is just as catchy as the original.

2. Opia – YDU (Pluto Remix)

Pluto only has three tracks up on his Soundcloud right now but he’s proven that he has what it takes to stand out in the current music scene. If you aren’t immediately convinced, just wait until this song’s second drop.

3. Dom Dolla – You

Dom Dolla’s latest single “You” is some solid deep house that’s ideal for warming up a dancefloor. The bass is powerful, but not overwhelming.

4. mr carmack – going crazy (oshi redo)

Oshi celebrates his recent acquisition of the Mr. Carmack sample pack with a quick redo of a Carmack classic. The focus here is on quality production and chill vibes.

5. Beluga Presents: ye.

ye. is a future-bass prodigy that has yet to blow up. In this thirty minute set he showcases pure ye. with several energetic IDs and unique interpretations of pop hits.
