Dragonette – Let The Night Fall

It’s Friday and it’s sunny here in D.C. and I’m happy. Here’s a track that fits that atmosphere. With an energetic, teenager, carefree vibe this Toronto-based synth-pop trio brings me back to the summer between the end of high school and the beginning of college. Warm night breezes and no responsibilities meant rocking out to songs like this. Kinda reminds me of “Punching in a Dream” by The Naked and Famous. I might be off on that one musically, but it gives me the same vibe. Enjoy below.

P.S. – They label this song as “basementpop.” I don’t know what that is but I like it.

Let me know what you think!
